The Void Calls
Earth's governments fell silent decades ago. What remains is the frontier — a sprawl of contested sectors where the only law is firepower and the only currency is control.

“Sector scans show persistent noise, an echo that isn't there. Our navigators report an unsettling 'drift' in stellar coordinates.”
“Distress signals from deep-space miners describe not piracy, but absence; no wrecks, just voids where vessels once were.”
“Automated sentinel reports confirm anomalous energy signatures, brief and untraceable, flickering at system perimeters with cold precision.”

// The Season Zero Saga
The road to the crown.
Season Zero dawned with the grim promise of untold devastation, a proving ground where ambition clashed with brutal reality. The galactic stage was immediately consumed by the titanic struggle between the Obsidian Fleet and the Crimson Pact, their initial engagements a maelstrom of destruction, an evenly matched dance of death that foretold the season's bloody course. Yet, amidst this visible conflict, another power moved with quiet purpose: the Void Corsairs, whose relentless pursuit of spoils would ultimately define the season's grim narrative.
The early weeks saw the Obsidian Fleet assert its formidable will. After the initial stalemate, their black ships pushed relentlessly, seizing two sectors, then another two, from the embattled Crimson Pact. Their precision and overwhelming force seemed to mark them as the season's inevitable frontrunner, a dreadnought cruising towards victory. While the galaxy watched the unfolding drama of these two titans, the Void Corsairs meticulously expanded their own dominion, navigating the treacherous political currents and seizing vital territories, their tally of spoils growing with an unyielding efficiency often overlooked in the grander, more spectacular confrontations.
But the tide, as it often does in the vacuum of space, turned with breathtaking speed and ferocity. In a stunning display of resilience and tactical genius, the Crimson Pact, battered but unbowed, unleashed a devastating counter-offensive. Not once, but twice, they ripped four sectors from the grasp of the Obsidian Fleet, each engagement a staggering underdog upset that sent shockwaves across the star systems. These were not mere victories; they were declarations, testament to the volatile nature of galactic warfare. The galactic eye was fixed on these seismic shifts, yet the Void Corsairs remained steadfast in their own strategic advancement, leveraging the ensuing chaos to solidify their hold and press their quiet advantage.
As the final tallies were declared, the true architects of victory emerged from the shadow of others’ conflicts. With a calculated eight spoils to their name, the Void Corsairs stood triumphant, crowned champions of Season Zero, having strategically outmaneuvered not only the valiant Terran Hegemony (six spoils) but also the exhausted remnants of the Obsidian and Crimson fleets. Their path to the crown was a testament to cunning, patience, and unyielding ambition, a victory forged in the crucible of their rivals' attrition. Yet, even as their banners unfurled in triumph, a chilling whisper permeated the void, a dark premonition of the ancient, ravenous Umbra Covenant stirring in the depths, threatening to engulf all in its encroaching shadow.
